“They invented hugs to let people know you love them without saying anything.”  Bill Keane

You

Like a lonely spaceship amidst the stardust
we can wander life aimlessly
bounded by the self,
wondering if there is anyone out there,
Our flesh our boundary
that imprisons the heart
and deceive the mind,
but for a longing to touch,
to hold and to belong.
At some point I sought a definition,
but though my mind was a blank
my heart said aloud,
a hug is you.

Imagination – Word of the Day

You

I got lost today,
not in the usual sense,
but in my mind as
I willingly immersed myself,
and I conjured the most
delightful companion
so complete,
a rare beauty so breathtaking,
and a conversation so deep
and naked as to open the
heart to oneness.
And, as I walked along the way,
at some point I was wakened from
my immersion and
I saw you,
knowing full well in
that moment I had not
imagined you at all.
