Resident Ghost

Shadows along the wall
imperceptibly moves the curtain
furtive, secretive gambit
of a resident ghost,
a collection of bugs,
how did they congress there?
Mat askew and a clump of hair
on my folded trousers,
under the bed
glinting eyes eerily stare,
then darkness.
