I can hear Bonnie Tyler singing her hit, “It’s A Heartache.”

Incomplete

Limp, I am broken,
a ragdoll incomplete,
our love was spoken, unspoken,
but an emptiness speaks now,
of your sudden departure and all is so  dry.

Handmade Love

We did the hardest yards all those years ago,
when money was so tight, absent, and we were
simplicity before the internet said, and you
loved us dearly with foods, hugs and tears,
and all those precious handmade things

Tell You A Secret

Our treasure is love’s depth and richness,
whose reservoir is so full and life giving,
and our secret is so very simple,
We refuse to buy each other, rather,
we give our treasure away, investing in each other.

Together

We colluded in argument and danced in love,
we were opposites from premise,
and yet together in ends,
though unequal in passion,
true partners in lust.
