“Thaw with her gentle persuasion is more powerful than Thor with his hammer. The one melts, the other breaks into pieces.”  Henry David Thoreau

I Thaw You There

Your mind firmly folded,
heart in a frown,
tangled emotions,
restless, swirling,
brinking …
I glimpsed your soul,
deep in your eyes,
that one strand,
that loose end,
traced back to my
hearts ear,
and that universal kiss,
a listening love
that untangles,
warms,
thaws.
