“Deep listening is the kind of listening that can help relieve the suffering of another person. You can call it compassionate listening. You listen with only one purpose: to help him or her to empty their heart.”  Tich Nhat Hanh

Feathered It

Life’s thirty kilos was on my back all day,
so heavy my mind was bowed and my soul weighed down,
till I sat with you at days end and
you lightened my burden as you received my
leaden tale and feathered it with wings to fly away.
