“The tastiest berries are often hidden. Do not despair if you haven’t found true love. Look under the leaves and branches of convention.” Khang Kijarro Nguyen

Juice

By sun's zenith we plunged on
filling our baskets brim,
our shirts stained and torn,
your cheek bleeding,
eyes smiling and lips fulsome;
by moon's zenith we plunge
into the juice of life with
sugar tongued,
softly encrusted,
moist slices of
your blackberry pie.
