“In that sweet mood when pleasant thoughts bring sad thoughts to the mind.” William Wordsworth

What Power Is This?

I'm trying to trace the moment
when my mood changed,
there I was smiling to myself,
reminiscing,
at peace while enjoying a book,
when a movement caught my eye,
why is it that the subtle movement
of the curtain derailed my mood?
What power is this?

  1. Isn’t it mystic how fast the mood can change? Let’s only have goodness around us. Best wishes, Paul! xx Michael
