Sometimes – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

“The secret to a happy marriage is finding the right person.” Julia Child.

Sometimes

Sometimes I know what you're thinking,
then I wonder that I'm hearing what you're saying,
most of all I wonder what it is that you're not saying,
or that you would say anything at all in this moment,
but I do know this,
we're agreed in love.

  1. Wonderful words, Paul. I am living this. At times we both both say or write (when we are not together 😁) the same thing.

  4. Truly, with that last all the rest work out ~ and without it, you can have all the rest individually nailed and they still won’t work out, right? 👍

  5. Paul, if you can get to this state of heart-mind with another, you are blessed.
