Day 4 4.11.22

Prompt: In the …. fill in the blank and make it your title the write about it.

In The End

It was his favourite saying,
to the point that he was unaware
he was saying it,
lacing every layer of his
down home suburban philosophy,
carrying a meaning beyond our ken,
he would smile as he said it
as if it were a prophecy,
who knows,
he is silent now,
it didn't all come good
but it wasn't all bad,
in the end.
