Laughing As It Goes

How fragile life really is,
our time is not an eternity,
though not just three score and ten,
life is so unpredictable, so varied,
tenuous, and everything changes,
especially when we aren't looking,
and if you're not looking it can
pass you by, laughing as if goes.
