“In many traditions, crows are messengers and close attention is paid to their actions.” Robert Moss

Currawang Ways

Beady, beady eyes piercing, busy,
though you'd never know
on account of the fact they seem
so still, focussed, pointed,
ever sizing movement,
always weighing action,
do they ever love,
even hauntingly?

Head cocked to one side,
listening, looking, waiting
for that moment that now
cannot be a surprise,
and so, currawang will
live another day of a
long fifteen years as
herald of attention.
