“All choices are fraught with peril, but inaction is the most perilous of all.” Frewin Jones
Someone, Something, Somewhere Sitting with our eyes closed in a dark mediation, we're not painting slogans, not marching or gathering, we haven't written much at all, no rallying call lingers on our lips, just sitting, waiting, hoping that someone or something, somewhere, will cause a spark, meanwhile we're sitting with our eyes closed in a dark meditation. Are we to keep meditating Paul ..

Till we catch the spark Ivor, the world appears comatose at present.

I’m intrigued by the thought of sitting with eyes closed in a dark mediation. Mediating the problem by just thinking about it?

Plotting revolution 🙂 albeit non-violent of course, protest of any kind to raise awareness (as opposed to apathy).

Ah, I hope there is some balance here. Non-action can facilitate bad actors. But not adding to the chaos has it’s own elements of contribution. Thought provoking Paul. I know I’ve wasted many days waiting for a spark, and days where I tried to ignite one and only burned myself

I love your response – yes, balance indeed, I have had the same experiences – I smile to think of them now, wisdom says the middle way.

Now that’s a conundrum, Paul. We shouldn’t run around willy nilly, acting on random impulsed without considering our purpose or planning our course of action. But neither should we become impotent observers in life. Great thought-provoking poem Paul! ❤

Yes, always the lazy ones, always the violent ones, the control freaks, never the quieter ones.
