At dVerse Laura is hosting Meeting the Bar with an invitation to write about fragments.
dVerse Poets – Meeting the Bar – Picking Up Some Pieces

“Poetry is what he turns to these days, finding in its fragmentation the proper echo of the disintegrating world.” Lauren Groff
Never Fragments These never days, the worst of days, such sad songs of Narcissus from his unrippled lily pond like all the ancients, ever since wrapped in their complete cocoon, knowing only their own codes of something akin to managersim, worse than Mussolini's trains and, whatever you do, do not offer any critique of those whose brittle egos flag when rules are flaunted like Ballerinas legs as fading swans are wont to go, and nary a smile raised, and if ever, only for show. That is such an apt quote for these troubled times.

Yet every time I think we can’t sink any lower–we go lower.

The usual chaos – where is everything, even though it’s labelled, lol, trying to fit into a unit having been in a house, thank you Cheryl – how is yours?

Holding it together has never been more difficult; nor has it ever been more necessary. If at all possible, do no harm. The fabric of the universe may be depending on it.

O absolutely Lisa, it is very much depending.

Ah…really like the references, stunning idea and really effective, and gives that extra bite…brings it all to the fore…and in my mind, I’m thinking you are so right, really so right…

Yo Paul — I am in the half-sleep insomniac bloom of zolpidem, but I like your work. I will return when I am once again razored out to write a ringing comment! ✌🏼❤️
