“Fluidity and discontinuity are central to the reality in which we live.” Mary Catherine Bateson

In A Draught Of Rainbows

As I feel
I stop,
my thin imagination is drawn
to sip the tranquility of sunset,
my feelings converge, tangled
in a cold sooth of confusion's heat,
a cool delight in the mug of eve's
rounded calm as the ripe sun
departs the gentle sky,
surrendering the sliver of thin
possibility that halos rise in a
draught of rainbows drunk deep,
flowing into me.
