Patchwork Days – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

“We are our choices.” Jean-Paul Sartre

Patchwork Days

Patchwork days rolling on
past mosaics of coloured doors,
any one worth a handle turn of
ever immanent experiences;
waiting where we are, to see
what might happen as we loose
our kinaesthetic kites into a
sky of metaphors, punctuated by
cloud sculptures with smiles
of providence writ large.
