Together – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

“If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life.” Oscar Wilde

Together

The place where we lay down together,
this spiced bed of infinite pleasures,
an imaginarium that fills my senses,
opening me to the sacred moment,
everything taking on new meaning,
with feelings like white water, dangerous
and ecstatic, all at once, a place
hallowed by the enfolding of love.

  1. Hopefully, this is the sequel to my poem. What a lovely ending it would be.
