“There is nothing like a dream to create the future.” Victor Hugo
We Hold Hope When will the struggle to transform the world be over? Sometimes, in my darkest moments, i say it never will be, that life is a series of regressions running in circles, always looking but never finding any positive revolution. Sometimes, in my darkest moments I say it never will be, our lives are never free of the shackles of self-focus, always looking but never finding any positive revolution, indolent crowds constantly ignoring all that lives. Our Lives are never free of the shackles of self-focus, and yet there are glimmers of hope irrespective that indolent crowds are constantly ignoring all that lives, because we hold hope of a future we want to be in. And yet there are glimmers of hope irrespective that life is a series of regressions running in circles, because we hold hope of a future we want to be in. When will the struggle to transform thee world be over? Copyright 2021 ยฉPaul Vincent Cannon All Rights Reserved ยฎ
One of the problems is that we keep moving the goal posts
We want the right to vote. Then we want equal access to be able to vote
Then we find that we need accomodations because of age, mobility, safety concerns…

beautifully said. I think Never but we can choose to do our part and see the hope and light. ๐

Yes, as some have said, MLK, Gandhi etc. we need to dream a future so that we can live now – aspiration and inspiration.

We mustn’t lose hope. As long as there is a glimmer, there are positive possibilities.

I think that individuals can choose to live a life that doesn’t take the form of “a series of regressions running in circles.” Societies on the other hand, can’t seem to get away from it.

Yes, that’s it – and those of us who take a different road pay a high price I feel.

Only when I choose to enjoy the chaos is the struggle lessened and self-focus loosened for the moment.
