“Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it.” Lao Tzu
The Stories I Keep My long, ancient back is weathered by nature's elements, my dermis swept on downwards, the calligraphy of pocks and fissures written by water in cursive smoothing my skin, the scars I hold are assuaged by the cool flow washing over the stories I keep of tortoise and dragonfly, thornbills and fantails and, if you listen closely, you might hear your own whispered softly through the sheoaks. A wonderfully imaginative poem covering all of the senses and told in a soft flowing voice.
