dVerse Poets – Poetry Form – Trimeric

“An algorithm is like a recipe.” Muhammad Wasseem
Algorithm When you see, what is it that you see, perception is no percentage of the truth, the rasta man in a tailored business suit, stockbrokers all hanging loose. Perception is no percentage of the truth, just a wasteland of conjectured jokes, purporting to be honest styles of you. The rasta man in a tailored business suit, disconcerting evidence all skewed, the dissonance of every angled view. stockbrokers all hanging loose, their predictions as illusions, honest perpetual rhythmic lies. That rasta man, gotta watch out for him! A thoroughly entertaining trimeric, my friend!

This one dances. Love the near rhymes and internal rhymes, and then the breaking of the pattern, and the illusion.

More and more the world seems to be mirroring this perception-based reality, and it’s unsettling, a feeling that comes across clearly through your clever trimeric.

‘honest perpetual rhythmic lies.’ You got that right! How long until we start demanding the truth?

I’ve been thinking a lot about perception lately and how we need to acknowledge and understand others’ perceptions in order for genuine communication to take place.

Yes, if only we could see that we don’t see, and we certainly don’t see as other see it would really help us in all that we say and do. If you know what I mean?

Yes, I know what you mean. That’s why when I teach or collaborate with colleagues, the first thing I do is ask questions to elicit their perceptions of whatever it is. I learned the hard way not to make assumptions.
