“I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness – it’s right in front of me if I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.” Brene Brown
Magpies Notice Today, I watched the magpies who speak loudly, lyrically, not often, when necessary, preferring to tilt their heads listening intently to the earth, the clouds, choirs of frogs on this alleluia morning when the damsel fly comes near. Magpies notice, they see how the cosmos moves slant in a straightened world. Copyright 2021 ©Paul Vincent Cannon All Rights Reserved ®

I read a book by Bernie Krause, some years ago, who did a research about the soundscapes in some areas of the world.
In most cases the sound spectrum lost nearly all its richness.
Sound comes from the earth itself, from weather conditions, from animals and from men.
In german the title is “das grosse Konzert der tiere”.
Quite a remarkable book

Imagery is beautifully used here!
Also it’s truely said that we don’t need to go in search of happiness, it’s always right there in front of us!

I love this poem – especially in light of recent discussions about birds eyes seeing energy lines
