I had the same view outside my window when I was a kid. I am still grateful to my parents for giving me the gift of an innocent childhood.

Yes, I believe that the loss of innocence is a form of abuse. Jung always said that the Child Archetype was someone looking for innocence. I agree, sadly, such lies indeed.
