At dVerse Sanaa is hosting Open Link Night where we are invited to post a poem of our own choosing.
dVerse Poets – Open LInk Night

“Moonlight incites dark passions ….” Rampo Edogawa
Pond Of Dreams I'm certain as not that my dreams lit the light of my centre as moon floated gently through the window of invitation, gently rustling my playful sheets of sigh, lighting a fire behind my lids of desire, with reciprocating motions of heart as rhythms of stroked flesh hovering at the edge of desire assuming a tidal wave in a pond of dreams. ©Paul Vincent Cannon
Love how this unrolls…dreamily.

Rhythms of stroked flesh sounds like a good title for a porno movie.

I was pleased to see another moon poem from you. Now that I’ve read a number of them, I do think about how they might work in a sequence, what story could be told in their arrangement.

Thanks! I’ve been reading poetry collections the past couple of years, and I particularly enjoy the ones that have a narrative arc based on the placement of the individual poems.

Thank you, I always feel that understated carries more power, so I am biased to that way.
