“I like the unreality of your mind; the whole thing is very splendid and voluptuous and absurd.” Virginia Woolf
Opening Opening the window wide reality flew in like an albatross, all flustered and no direction, shattering all my pieces, pretending to be something while spectacularly embarrassing itself with saturated deathly excuses emptying from its smirking life, and so completely removed, "who's the dissociative now?" I asked, as I closed the door on my way out to creative futures. ©Paul Vincent Cannon
Paul, the sun is shining. Thanks for reminding me. I think I will take a walk when it warms up a bit, escape tedium, and seek some inspiration! Have a great day! ❤

Strangely enough, my mother said that when I was a wee child, I can honestly say I do, and so enjoy the imagery which sometimes doesn’t get to print easily. Thank you so much Rupali.

My mother said that about my brother and me, but not in a good way. Our imagination was put to mischievous uses.

I think I know that mischief too 🙂

Yes printing isn’t easy at all. Writing and printing are related but when trade comes in the picture I guess the perspective changes. Good luck with that Paul.

Gah! There’s a crisis in rental here now, it is a major issue for the first time, 800 applicants for a two room dwelling, insane stuff going on with double rent being offered. I hope you can stay where you are or find somewhere.

Already been told to go. It’s hard to live in shadows when shown upon by the light of loving truth. If JC taught us one thing, it’s that. Back outdoors. Spare me a prayer, brother.

Prayers guaranteed Ana, if you were over here you could stay here.

What warmth your words bring to my heart. Thank you for them, and for your precious prayers. I know they’re heard with special respect. I have just been gifted with a week in hotel shelter. Bright blessings upon yourself and all your good works in return, my stalwart brother in the Light.

All well, thank you. As much as can be. Daughter #1 has decreed a new unlimited quarantine order. Can’t t see the family (including grandkids) until further notice. 3 months maybe?
You guys are much better in Oz, right? almost normal life?

In Western Australia we are covid free, Also South Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania. But Queensland has minor notifications of infection, while Sydney is our new hot spot with several cases. Melbourne is free at present but had two months of spread that was well contained. So I guess we have done very well. We can only travel within the state as the borders are closed currently due to the two other states who have infections. But given the size of our state well ….

Yeah, I’ve heard state borders are closed. Like you say, they’re big states. 😉
Stay safe nonetheless.

I had such a vivid image of that albatross bumbling through your open window and thrashing about the room all big and smelly and spattering poop. It behooves one to shut the door on that particuar reality and set off for a sun-drenched creative future.

Yes, avoid that scene at all costs, I really am finding the creative ever more vital, I hope you are too Liz.

Yes, I am. I need the creative to survive, at this point.

Yes, I feel that in my way too, the last year was particularly tough.

I thought the albatross in confusion was a fine image, which could easily apply to my mind at times. That is until I read Liz’s comment above. Then again, she did say a little earlier that she put her imagination to mischievous use. My mind is feeling very messy 😉
