VJs Weekly Challenge – Pathetic Fallacy (conveying emotions/mood using references to weather).

“An optimist is the human personification of spring.” Susan J. Bissonette
Everything My vulnerable bones fulminate against winter's lingering chill and my mouth speaks mistily of earth's grand tilt south up, as Helios smiles dispelling the grey oppression of now parting in weak resistance to the coming light that warms a promise of hope as nature speaks in loud colours of life, birthing out of rain's pregnant desire for something fresh, new, verdant, in my deepest self, where buds are coiled in wait of springing forth into the very next moment of the unmeasured joy of everything. ©Paul Vincent Cannon
Perfect quote picked for this weekly challenge 😇. And an amazing parallel created between the weather and one’s mental state. How long the overcast emotions are going to challenge our 💛 Helios 💛 , in the end spring is welcomed. And so blooms our dream. 🙃

Wow, Paul! The Masters are all smiling. Did you feel them sitting on your shoulder when you wrote?

Actually, they must have been, because I wrestled for some time to start then it flowed, I really enjoyed the challenge VJ. Thank you.

I really like the movement of this poem as winter rouses itself for the transition into the joy of new life in the spring.

I love each season, but somehow, the transition between is poignant. How weird is it that a circuit of the sun tilts us towards winter or summer? Amazing. I love that you like the movement of it, thank you so much Liz.

Thank you Heather – I still find it weird that you’re all going into autumn, even though I know how it works it is still surreal.

You’re welcome. I agree it is hard to fathom, and I find stepping out of winter into summer rather surreal …won’t be experiencing that for quite sometime to come. .

That is truly lovely, Paul. It is good that you write about spring so eloquently because I fear the words record history, a state that once was.

Ah yes, the unreliability of memory or official records, but experience trumps that every time in my view, we are who we are – Thank you for the heartfelt response Tracy.
