“All credibility, all good conscience, all evidence of truth come only from the senses.” Friedrich Nietzsche
Suddenly Suddenly truth broke out on a spring morning laden with the warmth of promise forecast centuries ago by the hopeful prophets before they became adults stuck in over insured futures of predictable plastic living suicide and, just as suddenly, people discovered themselves and each other. ©Paul Vincent Cannon

This is such an intriguing poem, Paul – encapsulating humanity and the move away from enlightenment. Hopeful undertone.

Interesting timing for this poem. I was preaching this morning about how people will always return to the arts and humanities when living in the “predictable plastic / living suicide” becomes too dehumanizing.
