“Some days I am more wolf than woman and I am still learning how to stop apologizing for my wild.” Nikita Gill
A Beautiful Wild
She was a beautiful wild,
like autumn reds
and winds of winter,
a wanderer of mystery
caught up in forbidden places,
daring questions in her eyes,
at the edge of truth
reaching beyond
her ripeness in a
wilderness abandon,
fierce without reserve,
a longing made perfect
in love’s embrace.

I love that opening quote. Your poem is a natural extension of it.
