Not Without Risk
I was not in control,
your words caught in my mouth
teasing sensibilities,
breaking the rules,
a dangerous energy
so fragile
I hesitated,
catching glimpses,
not without risk,
you were trouble,
and I was adrift,
but by that time
you were my hero.

I miss it. Dated now in its execution, but I had hope for another dose.

It’s okay to be dated. Some of those contraptions were funny.

Yes, I remember in some of the early Dr. Who The cardboard scenery moved.

Of all places, why does it have to be Stockholm it is named after?

Lol, I guess Limpopo might not do it, 🙂 but I know what you mean, I’ve pondered that too, but apparently that’s where the research was done.

Emma — what a woman! She was my hero too (even though my parents never let me watch her) 😄

Parents … funny lot. Mine went out a lot so I got to watch on my own. Some say it was neglect on their part, but I thought it was fantastic 🙂

Good work. Love Emma Peel and Steed. Seeing the serie again after so many years. A breath of fresh air and bowler hats…

I also have fond memories of Lumley in a bowler too.

Not sure I remember her in that series. I remember we saw a few episodes when we lived in Kenya. Heavily censored for sex and violence. So Mrs Peel’ hand on Steed’s chest was a no-no. And all the fights were cut out. 🤣

Indeed. Some Star Trek episodes lasted 30′.
