Rumours Of More

For some time now there
have been rumours of more,
but the train has never
left the station, though
it has often tried,
perhaps it was too much,
living the struggles of emotion,
free, yet self-imprisoned,
your silent questions seared me
but you were too deep in thought
to hear my response above the
noise of the comforting routine,
and the clamour of the
unthinking platform of life.

  1. MA is one of my heroes. I always thought she would make a wonderful president but she was not born in the US. Certainly not a great qualification.

  2. I felt that rather deeply, the longing to search for more; A longing for achieving something divine. Never quite reaching even the possibility of a search. Forever at the station.
