dVerse Poets – Quadrille – Magic.
Linda at dVerse has invited us to write a Quadrille (44 words) on magic.

“Magic lies in challenging what seems impossible.” Carol Moseley Braun
Real Unreality
Reality is never anything but
an imperfect substitution laid
across the psychic landscape,
set to fool the mind’s eye,
a fickle reign, until
depth calls to depth
an un-curated magic of soul
from the crucible of rituals,
a real unreality of
healing disruption.

I’ll live in the magical realm over the physical realm these days. It’s all so surreal, isn’t it? You have captured that feeling well here Paul.

I like how healing can be the result of disruption.

I’m particularly interested in that thought Frank, since it popped up I have been pondering that it is in fact just so in some cases. I’ll have to give it more thought. Many thanks.

Yes, the two – the fake one we’re enslaved in and the real one, wonderful. Thank you Liz.

O and how, my childhood was a rapid disabuse of Disney as I call it. But then found my own way. I wonder how many never come through that? Thank you Bjorn.

Enjoy this line “from the crucible of rituals” very much. Thank you for sharing the thoughts. I think, inspired by Plato too? 😉 Best wishes, and stay save, Paul!

Don’t mind my binge reading, Paul. 🙂

I don’t mind Punam, I’ve discovered that not all my followed sites are showing in the reader so I’m having to manually find some of them and binge 🙂 thank you for the wonderful compliment too.

Yes, there is a problem with the reader and with the lockdown and everybody home, taking out time to read and write is not that easy. But I am trying…
You are welcome, Paul. 🙂
