dVerse Poets – Quadrille – Wild.
Kim at dVerse has invited us to write a Quadrille (44 words) using and including the word Wild.

“A succulent wild woman is one of any age who feels free to fully express herself in every dimension of her life.” Sark
For Her
How can a label be drawn
from so narrow a quarter
that would imprison her,
her cover is always antithetical,
a contradicted series of paradoxes
packed in a conundrum,
Pandora loosed from that
quietude misjudged,
from her still centre
comes wild power.

Truly beautiful. Yes, such hidden emotions lie in a woman’s heart which if unleashed would be wild power. But unaware of this, we misjudge her and give her labels.

Yes, never judge, and be warned there is that wild power, thank you indeed Sangita

Your quadrille packs quite a punch, Paul. I especially love:
‘a contradicted series of paradoxes
packed in a conundrum’
and
‘from her still centre
comes wild power.’
And what an energy-filled image!

What a wonderful poem, honouring women. Women are very powerful, but sometimes hard to unterstand. Try to get an answer by questioning the meaning of one of their tattoes. 😉 Michael
