De at dVerse has invited us to write a Quadrille (44 words) around roar and ‘roaring in the new’

“People can be at their most vulnerable, but still tenacious at the same time.” Toni Bernhard
For Justice
Love overflows in perpetual caprices,
while anger escapes my imprisoning geist
and leaks across my world
as watercolour paint bleeding,
a tincture of passion released,
not so injustice,
action forthwith,
a torrent from a wellspring brimming,
an irreproachable love,
a roar for justice bursting.

Beautiful Paul…a loving roar for justice could be just what we need right now when so much and so many injustices happened…

Yes, I feel we’ve regressed from that post WW2 moment, and then the Berlin Wall moment when we had opportunity to build positives into the world, but right now, sigh …

I agree…and i fear for what will happen next.

Regression is so hard to fathom. Shouldn’t we know better? Have we learned nothing from the lessons of the past?

Dumber than mud, in our naive childish trust we fell into the hands of political piranhas.

I’ve become completely jaded when it comes to politicians.

Thank you, I’ve messed a bit with watercolour, I’m always transfixed by that process. Thank you so much De.

That metaphor capture my attention as well. Anger does tend to bleed into places it doesn’t belong.

Thank you Frank, I wanted to give that sense of pressure, glad to know it speaks that way.

I like that watercolour paint bleeding – I can see it so clearly – spreads everywhere.

Often Justice has no change against passion… sometimes that is a good thing, but often not.

Agreed, looking at the world, looking at my own life, that is very much so, thank you for sharing Bjorn.

our legal system seems to have suppressed most justice!

That image of anger as a watercolor painting bleeding is particularly vivid–yes, to all of this. We need a roar for justice.

Thank you Merril, yes, love must be authentic, it must own its anger and frustration, and I feel plenty of it at present. We really do need justice.
