“Looking out a window from different vantage points changes what you see …” Martha Ronk
An Open Window
An open window is a painting of
many and ever changing facets,
an eye to view the world immediate
through light and seasons,
and yet, if we dare to look
beyond the beyond,
to see through that
which we’d rather dream,
we might even catch a glimpse
of our deepest,
most vulnerable,
selves.

I love that quote Paul.
and your poem is just amazing.
One never forgets the true selv it’s just the layers which make it invisible for a while 🙂

Yes! And yet for me, there is something to be said for looking through a closed window, safely behind glass.

Lol, especially in the cold weather, but maybe you’re thinking of bugs?

I like the metaphor very much. Thank you Paul! Have a beautiful week. Hope you are far enough away from the fire storms. Best wishes, Michael

Fires are on the other side right now, but we wait here in the west – we normally get a couple of big ones.
