VJs Weekly Challenge – Moderation

“Everything in moderation, including moderation.” Oscar Wilde (his variation of an oft quoted piece usually attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, who was using Plato’s original)
Surely Not
Doctor Temperance called me today,
knock back the booze, chocky and chips,
she said, laconically,
it’s the new religion!
But what about peace, love,
and breathing,
I want those in excess,
I said, and
there ended the new gospel.

I imagine it will come up sooner rather than later, lol.

I dunno. Chocky, chips and booze seems like a reasonable compromise.

Me neither, but I suspect the next visit to the butchers will elucidate a need to moderate 🙂

Yeah, I’ve been sitting on a simple blood test for a while, knowing it will be out of kilter. Those questions they now ask, how much alcohol a day, exercise, sleep. I asked him if he wanted to move in – he does have a sense of humour.

I am conscious of a need to not remain in one style or subject too long. And it is nice to be reminded of that, thank you Liz.
