RDP Tuesday – Winsome

“She is a winsome wee thing. She is a handsome wee thing. She is a lo’esome wee thing. This sweet wife o’ mine.”  Robert Burns  1792.

How?

How is it you raise the sun
and warm my very earth
then turn the moon
spinning my heart
cartwheeling my mind
with kaleidoscope beams
even the moon lost its nightcap,
while Rhiannon laughed and even
Merlin raised an eyebrow
as I sighed at your
winsome ways.

  5. I just read someone else’s interpretation of the “winsome” prompt! It was fun to read yours right after hers. You’ve written a beautiful love poem.
