Boyle’s concerns have been shown to be grounded and yet he faces substantial jail time for alerting the nation as to a genuine problem.

“In a room where people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, one word of truth sounds like a pistol shot.  Czeslaw Milosz

Truth Costs (The Ballad of Richard Boyle)

You gangster of words
truthy extraordinaire
crusader of transparency
swimming in a tide of malefaction,
you called it and
told us what it was,
and they cried foul,
so embarrassed that
their little game was up,
but fro the truth
you must pay.

  2. Another fine quote, followed by a poem that lands a hard punch yet again…do you get exhausted, writing these? Just curious. Brilliant writing every time…

  3. The way he is being treated [and all the whistleblowers before him] is criminal … I thought we had introduced laws to protect these people?
How can this happen, he has to pay his own costs and will probably do jail time yet he fired that one word of truth that shattered their pay day!

  7. Let us just hope those who wish to tell the truth will not be discouraged with what’s happening. The conspiracy of the elite is more like it. A powerful poem, Paul.

  8. Well written. The truth really do costs. Just as The Truth came and declared the truth to all men, many received and many rejected but The Truth still set all humanity free from sin reconciling them back to The Truth. The Truth paid the cost for our sins, that no man could have paid for themselves. I pray one day that you come to know The Truth that set you free from the cost of sin. ❤ blessings!
