“Always ask yourself: “What will happen if I say nothing?” Kamand Kojouri
Taking Leave
Languid hangs the mist
on my sea of tranquility,
my soul becalmed so restful,
taking leave of the six p.m. paranoia,
that hurricane of disruption
lurking in the corners of the mind
nurturing thoughts
as a cuckoo inhabits another’s,
for sanity
best set aside.

The six pm paranoia can really ruin your sea of tranquility!

Yes, I gave it up many years ago, but I see its effect everywhere.

I like your poem and the quote really speaks to me right now. I have been asking myself the same question.

Saying nothing can sometimes be a true challenge!
6 PM paranoia with a hurricant of disruption….this reminds me of my days on the job….right when I was ready to leave and go home and suddenly there would appear demands, to-dos, emails and calls…..a hurricane of disruption!

Wisdom poetically and beautifully written. It is good to be becalmed in the mist while the world hurries by.
Excellent quotation, too.

Thank you Robin, that is very kind indeed, I am honoured, though I may disappoint as I haven’t been able to get to the last nomination due to time management issues, but I will try 🙂

That end-of-day moment is a welcome calm, isn’t it?

In retirement, I don’t miss the disruption, although I can create my own at times!

Perhaps, but poetry is about how the reader makes sense of it too.

Hello I’m a schizophrenic writer/rapper that’s been going on and off viral for the last 10 years. 39 songs can be found at http://www.soundcloud.com/projectillogic
I document the paranormal many times. I use to write for the wutang clan until they banned me for doing something schizophrenic but schizophrenics have schizophrenic tendencies they just got scared when i cut myself that deep but that just kinda happened it was not planned
Some people think my music is really good my old spam message had like my 5 best reviews but we are gonna try it this way and only do one of the song reviews.
OK im too lazy to get you a link to all of the song reviews but they were al l as good as this one
“The song beat was great I loved the lyrics. The rap was just great I loved it I hope other people like this song to. The instrumental was great. The artist did a great job good work for him.The raps of the song was perfect I liked the rap it made since I liked this song. The rapper I think did a great job and I hope he can get big and get to be one of the greatest rappers of all time. I want this rapper to be known for his singing and I want people to know him.”
Im doing it on my own independent on WordPress and im up to about 80 followers the wutang clan only had about 100 active members. Yeah wutang I did cut myself accidentally a little too deep but it felt great and I totally got all my charges dropped in this county because of it. On the wutang clan message forum I went viral with over 100,000 views but I like this future you should see how many likes I get on wordpress
jahisprojectillogic.home.blog
as high as you could possibly get i created a viral thread on lil wayne hq and it started to go viral
