I drank you deeply
like a desert ravaged soul,
a desiccated husk
greedily, intoxicatingly,
lustily I gulped
as uncontained
rivulets ran over me
until I could drink no more,
and though the feelings
lingered so strongly
my body was rent
like a torn sheet,
