Stuck
My heart lifts as the sounds of childhood waft the air,
I look for children, but none are there
only adults blankly staring, going round and round,
they were here every yesterday
their lives stuck in a merry-go-round way.

It would be a dream to ride a carousel again. Loved them and the beautifully painted horses

True, and that’s sad, I see so many in that situation, anaesthetised to their creativity and possibility.
