I Remember
When I have whelved all my thoughts to the
point that I dwell in anomia
I go to the edge to listen to the wind calling,
while the water caresses,
and I remember your laughter.

Thank you Winnie. Yes, for me it is looking for a word to cover several so the meaning is more quickly conveyed. 🙂

I learned a new word, anomia, which is good but…whelved? Not in my dictionary was it meant to be shelved? Anyway, the poem is lovely as always. Thank you for sharing it.

Whelved is an old Irish word I read somewhere, it’s in some older dictionaries, it means to bury deep, to push down.
