You Really Shouldn’t

Nurturing the pain and stealing
jealous moments I cruise the depths
of my darkness, but you just laughed
and you really shouldn’t have because
the voices in my head don’t like that.

  8. Some inner voices can be frightening. I know this because my brother suffered from DID with many inner voices speaking to him. At times it was funny but most of the time it was sad and frightening. Your words resonated with me. Thank you for linking to In Other Words.
