Invitation
Days passed
as sly glances became overt
with no response,
though no overture was proffered
she dallied by the lift
and waited by the copier,
he was oblivious
until that one day
she lingered in the cafe,
sat next to him, and
hit him with an invitation
written on her face.

Oh, the office crush. Who hasn’t had one of those? Everyone else can see it except the intended. Nice one, Paul.

I hung out with a couple who were so slow they needed jumper leads. Though to be fair I’ve met a couple of women like that too. 🙂

Great post, Paul!! Men aren’t usually adept at non-verbal communication unless it stares them in the face! LOL!
