dVerse Poets – Poetics – Walking and Observing

Nature’s Restorative
Piano out on the street
with a delightful sound,
suits on the run,
and my nose tells me the way
of temptation to caffeine,
while the envy of all
a Triumph growls,
a bicycle squeaks,
shop doors glide open
willing me in,
and I notice
there’s less gum on the
pavement these days,
but of all the sights and sounds
I would trade them every one
for a wander round the park
with nature’s restorative all.

Wonderful description of urban life, but I agree, I’d choose the walk in nature any day!

I’m not surprised you said that given your writing and comments, so good isn’t it – to be in nature. Thank you Heather.
