I Am Of Sorts – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

dVerse Poets – Poetics – In My Element

I Am Of Sorts

I am dressed in myself
a wicker of caught things
a mudling of all things
like a time capsule
ever expanding into
the unknown serpentine flow
yet too, though
encrusted of forms,
not hindered
or weighed down,
at least
in this prescient moment,
a noe
of sorts.

  8. I like the photo you chose for your poem. It reflects your thoughts well. What I feel as I read it is how alive and aware you are.

The image of the time capsule is great. And also the image of expanding.
