If you have one, I’ve never liked uniforms, since I left scouts, and I was asked to leave army cadets – apparently I asked far too many questions.

it was a very interesting exercise at the tender age of 11 to visit other faiths and be put down the front to ‘convert’ … guess that sealed my choice in many ways.
