To Bring Her Closer

Her face shone
lighting the whole
and she beamed knowing
that I adored her and
I resolved to
spend some time
weaving my heart-felt
love to bring her closer.

  3. This is lovely! I love how you’ve put a hyphen in heartfelt! I also love how the image conveys the ‘pull’ as an ‘anchoring’ force.

  4. I, too, find my comments becoming redundant…your poetry embraces heart. How’s that for something new? 🙂
