Wherever We are
Sometimes
when we hold closely to
a pressing darkness
we surrender to an emptiness
a quagmire of despair
that is an implosion of hope
and yet,
the very thing we hold
at our centre
is the lightness of light
that is always wherever we are
as gift to the world.

really appreciate your reflection here, to hold on to darkness while waiting for light to come forth. being faithful with the small while waiting for the big event, this is lovely Paul
