More in the life of Pettigrew.
Smiling Eyes
Pettigrew is an enigma
once a month he likes
to wear an item of his
wife’s clothing
that no one can see,
but everyone
can see his smiling
eyes.

Oh, what’s he wearing today that we can see?
A good poem Paul.

She might be, one person I knew the wife didn’t know, so I never assume 🙂

Amazing! Such a memorable character study in 28 words. Yes, I counted. I was rather on the impressed side. So I counted.
Thanks for sharing that, Paul.

No, but I think he’s a composite of several people known to me, so a number of possibilities 🙂
