Forever

We have journeyed each other
segued to the soul
it seems forever
as joy cleverly inverts time
and love alters perception,
even reality,
should such a thing exist,
but excitement is a thin energy
and we must more than exist
in this liminal space
for the longest part is yet ahead
so, we must take time
and make it ours.
