“I’m grateful that, after an early life of being silenced, sometimes violently, I grew up to have a voice, circumstances that will always bind me to the rights of the voiceless.” Rebecca Solnit
Her Own True Way
She felt voiceless,
shut down,
cut down,
weighed down,
yet she had an inner strength,
something deep,
and she drew it forth,
and set off,
in her own true way.

How easy it seems…probably felt like heaven and hell had fallen before that step was taken. True strength indeed.

When you feel voiceless, that is when you need to truly speak UP…

I am super silent. I sometimes feel like my voice doesn’t matter, but I am learning to speak up!

You really must, thank you for reflecting openly with me, always remember- everyone matters, which means you matter.

This really resonated with me. I was once like that. Voiceless but I found my strength finally.
