Completely Lost

I’m not sure what possessed me,
well, no, that’s not really true,
you did as you passed by,
and I reached out to take your hand,
strangers though we were.
I wanted to reach out to you,
you smiled like the morning sun,
unfazed by my brazen move,
and I lost myself in your welcoming eyes,
then after coffee,
I lost myself completely
in your ruby lips.
